Wore them almost EVERYDAY in Mumbai for 2 weeks and even brought them to the beach with me and thought I ruined them when the ocean tide almost swept them away in Monterrey. The ruched toe detail adds a current look to the shoe and the seasonal shades of brown and green are just right. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and the fit and size run true. I like the steel shank and extra arch support because I have a high arch and a typical ballet flat hurts my feet more than three inch high heels. I was already a fan of the Born brand and looking for something stylish for casual outfits. I’ve seen these flats offered by several vendors but had the best luck with the right size and color at Amazon. The last is cut for a female foot, so there is no annoying extra width in the heel. I went on long walks in these shoes in San Francisco. And for almost every occasion (ie. an anniversary to a fancy play to casual outings) they always looked perfect on my outfits....
